What is a Survival Shovel?

One of the many things you can use a survival shovel for is digging a hole. For instance, you could dig one as part of your trench, shelter, or fire pit construction project. You can also use it for cutting (e.g. when you want to make some kindling) if all of your other types are out of reach or unusable.

Survival shovels can be used as a weapon in times of need and when there are no other options. You might use it against an animal if you're out in the woods or if someone is attacking you. They might not be the best weapon to use in a fight against another person, but they'll work in a pinch.

Why Is A Survival Shovel Important?

Practical tools are the best thing to have on hand in any situation. A survival shovel is an indispensable item that can be used for multiple purposes, such as cutting soft wood if you don't have a sharp knife. There will come a time when you're stranded and lost in the woods, where building a shelter might be necessary.
